Changing PLex Account

I want to change My Plex account (email and password I use to sign on) password…

I assume this will affect the Plex Web Users (as they use this, and not a PIN to sign on).

Will this impact the other platforms? Can I change my password and not have them need to re-register their devices?

You can change the email and password on your Plex account and it won’t affect anything. If you change, meaning you want to use a different Plex account, then yes everything will change.

Only want to change the password… the password has become known to some family members, and I want to secure it better… But don’t want to affect their devices that are already regisgterd.

Will keep email address (Plex Account) the same.

Changing password will not require you to re-sign in on those clients that are already signed in. Only for new clients or if you sign out.

Open Plex Web, go to accounts, scroll down to password, hit edit.

If you want to force every device to have to re-sign in then enable the box underneath password box.
