Changing sound track while using transcoding

Hi,

 

i have noticed that rasplex always plays the 1st sound track if you start a movie, this is a problem since you can not change it anywhere if you are using transcoding.

Even if i choose another sound track by using the iPhone or web remote, it still starts playing with the first sound track.

Is there any other workaround than to remux all those files?

This is a known limitation of PlexHT. It’s currently just not possible to choose the audio track via the PlexHT interface.

Have you tried to choose the track via the iOS / Android Plex app? (This might work but I haven’t tried it myself)

yes i tried that, but i am using powerlan now instead of WLAN. So there is no reason to transcode anymore...
