Changing the 'Date Added' on a TV series (or movie)

I’ve just added the TV series ‘Big Little Lies’ to my library but it didn’t seem to appear under ‘Date Added’ with the newest at the top of the list.

I discovered that it was actually at the bottom of the list - added 3 years ago!

Plex also started to play series from episode 2 of season 1 so I must have downloaded the first episode at some point but deleted it soon after way back then.

How do I change the ‘Date Added’ of this series so that it appears as the most recently added?

I believe if your remove Season 01 and do the Plex Dance and then add it again it should be all fixed. Unless were talking mp4 files and metadata tags, you may need to edit those or use MKVToolNix.

Performing the Plex Dance should take care of it.
