Can someone explain how to change themes in OpenPlex. I am trying to do so but nothing seems to work. Installed CLT and PIL.
Pick a new theme and follow the prompts. Picking a new theme deletes your existing plexconnect theme (GitHub) and git clones a new one. Personally I backup all my settings once I have one theme working. Then to switch themes I just:
- Pick a new therme (github)
- Restore all
Done, assuming your OSX box is working properly. iOS 8 just came out plus only some theme designers are working on compatibility for iOS 8. I personally dislike iOS 8 and won’t be updating my theme any time in the near future. Ibaa’s github as well as falco953’s & Cyberghost84’s themes are working on iOS 8 as far as I know. I’m not sure about the remaining themes without a iOS 8 patch and aTV reboot. Patience is key here, blame apple for the new iOS
I have successfully changed themes using OpenPlex about 300 times give or take as well as other users having successfully done so

Either I am doing something terribely wrong (althou I am not a complete ignorant in case of computer stuff ;) or something is not working cos whatever I do the theme stays the same.
What I do is:
1. Stop PlexConnect using OpenPlex menu
2. From OpenPlex Settings window I choose Theme (CyberGhost84) and click "Install" and wait till it's done
3. From OpenPlex Settings-Advanced-Restore: All
4. Start PlexConnect from OpenPlex menu
... and nothing :) Still original iBaa theme on my ATV!
