Interesting thing happening. Channel Logos for antenna TV stations do not show under Favorites, but DO show under my server tab in the guide:
This occurs both on Plex Web (app.plex.tv) and the Roku client. I have other clients I can check if necessary. Everything is functional. This is just a minor annoyance.
I found a few Plex channels that presented this way as well.
I went and used the fix outlined above to remedy the issue for now. Will report back if it happens again. Not a world ending thing, but figured someone should know.
I have 11 Favorites from the tuner, and 18 from Plex feeds.
I set up favorites way back in the beginning when they were first introduced. Unsure when during that time the logos went missing? I haven’t really made a whole lot of changes in that time. I had assumed something in my network was blocking them, but didn’t think much of it till I added a new one recently and it worked.
I am currently operating on my manual fix of removing and readding which appears to have worked… so in the grand scheme of things this isn’t a big deal. Appreciate your eyes on it.
Are you using a XMLTV file or something like xTeVe?
Either of which could provide links to the logos by http link, instead of https. The “mixed source policy” of the web browser will then determine whether pictures from an unsecured location are loaded into a web app, which was loaded from a secure location (i.e. https://app.plex.tv)
In most cases, this policy will say NO.
Assuming I am not using XMLTV as I am unfamiliar with it. Using the stock Plex Live TV features with two HDHomerun Extend tuners.
I do go through them once every few months scanning for new channels which causes guide refreshing each time. I sometimes interrupt the first scan with the second tuner’s scan.
This had only ever happened on my tuner stations… until I noticed it recently on a small number of Plex channels. Also this only happened under Favorites. Looking at either my tuner tab, or the Plex tab everything looked good.
