Am I missing something, or is there some kind of bug when adding LiveTV channels to favorites on PlexWeb?

On Plex for iOS you have a Favorites and <servername> filter options/actions at the top. So you can switch between favorites and the full channel list.

When you add a channel to favorites on PlexWeb. It automatically switched to favorites view and you can’t pick more channels. As far as I can see (I might be blind), there are no filter option on PlexWeb to get back to the full channel list (you are locked to favorites after the first channel is added) ?

Make sure to use the hosted web app and to disable any web browser add-ins which could potentially interfere.

This is so strange. I am using the hosted webapp. How do you switch between all channels and favorites?

When I favorite the first channel, I’m locked to favorites.

That’s not happening to me. The Favorites column is just added to the left side. I can still switch to the full list, which is now at second position.

I’ve noticed in your screenshot, that the table headers show favorite and servername. This is not an option here:

Hence why I recommend you to check for interfering browser add-ins.

Maybe purge the web browser cache, and try a force-reload.

[edit: tested with Chrome + Firefox]

This is soo strange. I have no extensions or plugins enabled. I have tried in latest Chrome, Edge and Firefox (I’m a webdev). Same in all browsers.

The only difference I maybe could think of, is that i have two tuners defined:

Try enabling the Live TV source here, https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources
wait a few seconds
then reload the web app.

Any changes?

or, just for the heck of it, try the same with the local web app.

Just to be thorough: now disable the online media source again and re-try.

Then I’m locked to favorites (only) again. Switch option is missing.

I see 2 active add-ons in your screen shot.
Both have the potential for interference.

Did you force-reload the app? (CTRL+F5)

Yes … CTRL-F5 and CTRL-SHIFT-R … and clean cache, disabled cache (devtools).

This is quite strange.
I disabled the online media source as well. And I don’t see the issue.

Could you test with “Plex for Windows/Mac/Linux” as well?

And I found another bug. If you enable media sources Live TV. Click save and go back to the home screen. Everything is okay. If you then disable media source Live TV … the pinned “Live TV & DVR” menu item gets unpinned. This is wrong, since i have DVR activated.

Sure … let me test this.

This is normal, since the source is now moved from the “Plex.tv” server back to your local one and renamed from “Live TV” to “Live TV & DVR”.
You have to re-pin it from there.
