I really wish I understood this topic better. I'd like to make channels for powerblocknetwork.com projectfree.tv, but I can't grasp this. I've tinkered all evening and have had a horrible outcome with it.

It can take some time to get a grasp on all the parts that go into writing a Plex channels, as lotoo said, ask a more specific question and people can at least give you some direction on where to go next.
