Found some strange issue.
Some weeks ago i Upgraded to PLEX Movie Agent and now (maybe also before) are a lots of Chapter Thumbnails blanked and just stored as a black Image with same sizes, sometime all Chapters and sometimes just some of them.
Can’t prove if there sometimes will really be blanked Chapter starts but there won’t also be some Errors in the LOG.
Tried to find a matching Movie and location but it won’t be possible as it looks like PLEX LOGs just will use Tokens and no real Path to a “Chapters” Folder.
What i also can see in the LOGs, even on a Movie where a Chapter Thumbnails will work, is that the LOG says The cache file did not exist, but the original did […/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/90/90fe6e3fce9ebfd927ead46cbd91e7a507b29617.jpg].
So their Chapters are stored just inside the “Chache” Folder because the DB won’t finde the other Path anymore, sadli he won’t be written out.
On new added Movies with the actually Setting to create Chapter Thumbnails when added, there won’t be any issues. It just LOG “Request” and “Completed”, nothing about “Cache file did not exist”.
As there is sadly no chance to see or prove what a “scheduled task” will do, i can’t know if there will be fixed something by itself.
So i wanna ask about the maybe easiest way.
It is possible to delete ALL “Chapter” Folders under Folder /Plex Media Server/Media/localhost/0/0aa6352ac3cb86414a9f8db3c99d1cc74e78cef.bundle/Contents/Chapters and wait until they will come up again?
Or won’t PLEX be able to fix the Location Path Tokens in the DB and there just come up more “Reqest” Errors?
So it would maybe better to clean all “.bundle” Files?
Also tried to deactivate all Thumbnails and also pushed the Button to delete them under the Agents, but this won’t even delete the existing “Chapters” at all.
