Chapters are stuck on my screen

Hi! Does anyone else have this issue where the chapters and their thumbnails are stuck on their screen when they either invoke them on purpose or when they only wanted to open “Recent Apps” using Gestures on Android?

Additional info: It seems that the UI behaves as expected when watching backup copies of TV Series (non-remuxed Blu-Ray discs made with MakeMKV). The chapter and “Queue” “drawer” can be dismissed. My bug happens with similarly made copies of UHD Blu-ray movies.

I can reproduce them not going away when swiping up to invoke ( when hitting the arrow at bottom of on screen controller to invoke seems to work fine)

This happens with any kind of drawer. I was watching a free movie on VOD and I had to reload everything because a queue of recommended movies was stuck in front of the movie. This is a bit annoying because those free movies have advertisements sprinkled in them.

Does it mean that it is in your to-do list?

There is a bug report from what I can see the devs agreed it is a serious problem, but I can’t provide an ETA for a fix.

This is fixed in 2026.10.0 but I do not know exactly when that will be released to public
