When using the “watch together” feature I think it would be cool to have the ability to send messages or chat with the other people watching with you.
I understand we wouldn’t want this to be annoying or intrusive to the watching experience so maybe have it be a small transparent pop up.
Basically, I got the idea while watching with my girlfriend and texting back and forth to initially troubleshoot and then during to comment and laugh about certain parts of the movie.

There’s already an existing suggestion discussion an option to incorporate audio/video/text based chat while having a watch together session. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
