During the last Plex server update blitz released like every day or so, I decided to skip current update. Since that time, the “Check for Updates” button is permanently grayed out. In the past, I could click on it to check if there are any updates available. Now I can’t. Is there a trigger or a file somewhere I have to remove to bring this option back?
Simply update manually.
If by “update manually” you imply to download software from the website and, then, install it, this is not the answer. You did not address a fundamental issue of piece of software that is now not working properly. It used to work before, now it’s not. So, is this feature broke now?
Is your update channel set to “public”?
If so: if you clicked on “skip current update” while version 1.23.2.4625 was already installed, you won’t get an update notice until a newer version of PMS has been released.
