So, I haven’t set up the server yet…I am going to be getting a dedicated computer in today to set up with debian. I have been messing around with it on my gaming rig and I was wondering if there’s a way to get the player to default to your server instead of having to navigate to it when you open the app. I will be using plex on a roku tv, iPhone and web browser.

You do not pick a server anymore, just the library. The first time you use a Plex client, you can choose the libraries from a specific server to list in the sidebar. You can always add libraries from other servers later.
I just figured out how to add it to the sidebar. Is that the best I can do though? I feel like I remember last time I used plex it would just automatically show my content when I opened it. Just want to make sure I’m not missing something that would keep me from having to navigate the sidebar every time I open it.
Not that I’m aware of. All Plex clients have always opened to the Home Page, AFAIK.
Its been like 6 years since I used plex, so I don’t remember much past the annoyance of getting sabzd, couchpotato, etc working right, lol. Thanks for the help!
