I haven’t provided any version info., as I suspect my problem is just something silly I’m doing…
I have a Server on a PC and a Player on another PC, when I fire up the player, I get the messages shown in the subject. If I then click on “Music” “Movies” and so on I get the content I expect. i.e. my movies or music and so on. I really want my music library to be opened by default, but I’d accept just getting rid of the error messages.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
That’s not possible. All Plex clients are opening the Home page by default.
Please do, because then one could at least assume which Plex client type you are using. That is important information.
Did you by chance disable everything under
Settings - [Server name] - Manage - Libraries
?
Don’t. It will not cause the Home page to go away.
Enable at least one of these check boxes for every library.
If you are after a pure music player, see if your device is able to run Plexamp.
This is a music player and it will use the preselected music library by default.
