I’ve been searching for a fix to this, but I can’t seem to find one. It seems like it would be easy.
How do I set my home server to be the default, and not my friends?
My friend invited me to join his server two years ago. I signed up. Logged in. Awesome.
I introduced my other friend to PLEX. He loved it. Set up his own server. Sent me an invite. Awesome. Now I have access to two libraries!
The other day I decided to set up my own server. Very excited. Now I have three servers I can connect to.
How can I set MY server to be the default? It’s my main source of content. PLEX currently defaults to the first server I was introduced to. The UI is kind of a pain to click-clack around to find my home server every night.
With the introduction of Plex’ new look & feel for Apple TV (and Roku), you should have been asked to set your “default” server but also (and more importantly) to configure the main navigation according to your liking.
This includes setting which libraries should be displayed in the main navigation (pin/unpin a library) and changing their order. Considering each server can have a number of movie / tv show libraries, this should give you the control you’re looking for.
