Choosing you the device to play media on

My Plex server is on a Windows PC. I have Plex installed on the TV the Xbox the phones the PlayStation Etc.

When I pull up the Plex on my phone and pick a movie and I can choose to cast it to various devices that are in the house but it uses the phone as an intermediary casting device. So I can play in pause and fast forward using the phone. But I don’t want the phone to be the intermediary device. I want the media to play in the Target devices native plex application.

Once you cast the media, the phone is only for control. The stream goes from the server to the target client.
