Chromcast with Google TV won't Direct Play 4K HDR and passthroug Atmos

Hi.

Have my Plex Server running on my Synology NAS. If I use Plex on nVidia Shield or on my LG TV it plays 4K HDR with Atmos without a problem using Direct Play. But when using my Chromecast With Google TV (4K) it won’t Direct Play. It lags and the audio is out of sync.

I thought the Chromecast supported both x264 and x265 with Atmos passthrough. Im I missing something? Does it have something to do with the profiles? I remeber haveing som issues with Samsung Tiezen TVs a couple of years ago.

I’m having a similar issue with 4K content. I always get a message that an error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again. This doesn’t happen on any other device I own. all of my media is in X265.
