Chrome UI: Orange Markers on Posters. What do they signify?

I have a simple UI question. On the dashboard of Plex when viewed in Chrome, some of the movie posters have orange corner markers (see attached image.) I’m just curious what those markers represent. It doesn’t represent whether the movie has been watched or not, as both watched and unwatched movies have it. Some of the posters don’t have it, however.

Actually. I am incorrect. It does seem to represent whether they’ve been watched or not. No marker implies watched. A few of the movies I must have marked as watched at some point, since I certainly didn’t actually start and watch them. I can click the … on each poster and see the option to mark them as unwatched.
