Something happened with audio compatibility.
This has, in my untutored opinion , got be related.
I’m just posting for anyone else that is still hanging in there for a fix
The link you posted is about 2 lines added to a doc page with this simple change:
- H.264 High Profile up to level 5.2 (2160p/30fps max)
+ H.264 High Profile up to level 4.2 (1080p/60fps)
They are simple fixing a typo in the doc where they wrongly said level 5.2 was supported for Chromecast Utlra, unless I missed somthing in the post or you pasted the wrong link this unrelated to the with the issue discussed in the topic.
Also its always best to open a new thread when unsure, if you want to discuss this futher please fell free to DM.

Gosh sorry, I think some of the link confusion was my fault. The first link was broken, but I think I had two tickets open and pasted the wrong “corrected” one. Eep!
Forgive my ignorance but why if 7.1 audio is not supported by chromecast, does Plex not just transcode to supported format?
