Chromecast Not Playing Local Server Content (mac)

Hi there, I’ve just recently begun experiencing the Chromecast not playing local content, nor does it show the meta info on the TV when selecting a video to watch. Plex on the chromecast will stream live TV from the iOS app and also play content cast from a laptop using chrome. The iOS app will play local videos on the device but will not play to the chromecast, and like I mentioned wont display the metadata. Chromecast will not play previously played videos either.

I have updated the server, factory reset the chromecast and removed and reinstalled the Plex app.

I hope someone can help me here.
