Im unable to get chromecast to play plex videos off my phone. Any ideas?
I suppose we might need some more details as for your setup and what exactly isn’t working, e.g.
- what Plex app / version are you using?
- do you get to pick the Chromecast device as a streaming target but it fails to play or don’t you even see the device?
- do you stream to an actual Chromecast device with Plex installed or a different device that’s using Google‘s Chromecast protocol?
- any error messages?
- are you trying to stream media from your own / a shared library or some online media sources of Plex?
- …
I guess you’re not using an ancient device… but there’s certain documented restrictions (e.g. for devices with iOS 5 or older…).
