I am also experiencing this under nearly identical conditions. Listening to music from Plex on iOS, multitask, music is playing fine, task back to Plex and the audio stops, I get the welcome logo and it’s like music was never playing.

I face the similar issue while using plex app with chromecast via my iphone.

Same here, mostly with 2nd gen Chromecast, and IOS. Media type doesn’t matter.

Another Plex update, and absolutely nothing for the Chromecast… pretty disappointing
