So I am new to Raspberry Pi and Rasplex world but so far very happy!
Finally I get the full Plex experience in my bedroom and I replaced my Chromecast (which lacks support for a lot of format and support for subtitles in a proper way)
BUT I suddenly realised that I have no Netflix without the Chromecast. And no spare HDMI in my TV to run them both :(
I guess Netflix would work with AirPlay, right? But I am not really a huge fan of Apple (my wife is!) and I cannot use Netflix/Youtube on my Android and send to AirPlay. They only support Chromecast.
My idea is that you implement a Chromecast receiver in Rasplex as well as AirPlay.
Would this even be possible? I have seen some examples of Chromecast receivers on Raspberry Pi.
From what I understand rPlay is a Chromecast receiver as well. (Never really tested this in reality)
If this is not possible. Would it be possible to add Netflix to Rasplex in some way (Netflix is available for Linux right?) so you just switch between Plex and Netflix.
I am no developer so I am just talking crazy! :)
What do you people with knowledge say?
