Chromecast select subtitle during playback

Hi,
When casting from Android device I’m unable to select subtitle after having started playback. The option does not appear on the phone’s Now Playing screen.
Perhaps this feature doesn’t exist, or I’m missing something stupid. However, I tend to forget to select a subtitle beforehand, have to stop playback, select the subtitle I want and then restart the playback.
