This Google TV is hardwired, and the old player works just fine. Logs here:

Other issues I have noticed is using subtitles will many times break playing it, I have to go to the android app, disable the subtitles, then try to play on the Google TV again.
Are you casting to the Chromecast Google TV from another Android device? If so, please recreate the problem and get me the log from the Android app you are casting from. Android, Android TV, Fire TV Logs | Plex Support
Ok. Please recreate the problem and provide the log from the Android app following the guide I posted before. Also let me know what movie or tv show you tried to watch so I can find it easier in your logs.
The device does not like DTS at all. From what I can tell it only does aac2.0 as well. I recommend disabling passthough in the app and leaving the device codec detection on automatic if you changed it.
What’s annoying about the home screen? I love the approach of focusing on content, not apps. I hated having to remember what content was on what app - i just find what I want to watch, click it, and it shows me where it’s available and gives me a choice of which app to open it in. This doesn’t work with plex, but still, opening plex is as easy as holding the assistant button and saying “Open Plex”.
Ah got it. usually the “recommended” stuff there is stuff I’m interested in, but I have a very long history with google, so they have a pretty good beat on the stuff I want to watch.
I like the content focus over the app focus, but to each their own.
