it currently doesn't, and it does not appear on the roadmap yet. But as the app is open source anyone can code the ability and then submit a pull request for it to be included.

What would it take to add this to the codebase? My question is how are the cinema trailers accessed by plex clients? Is there a specific call that is made to request them or does the plea transcoder automatically start playing them when it sees that the setting is enabled on the server? Does anyone know if there is any plea documentation to add this to a third party app? I am happy to help add this support since I would like this feature, but I haven't done any plex specific development and don't know where to start.

I know to do a fork in the main code. I meant is there any documentation from the plex team on how to get the plex media server to access the cinema trailers from a third party app.
