Greetings! For a while now (in the past several versions), I’ve been getting this message at the top of my Plex server settings page:
This server is unclaimed and not secure
Claiming this server will associate it with your Plex account.
This helps your devices find each other and helps keep your media safe.
There is a button to the right that says “Claim Server” but when I click it, a spinner appears momentarily as though it’s working and then immediately reverts back to the error message and Claim Server button. I can press it over and over and nothing happens (though every now and then a new message that the server is signed in or something appears for a split second… it flashes so fast I don’t know exactly what it says before the warning message pops back up).
Any idea what the issue is? I’m signed in and my server is up to date (Version 0.9.16.3). Moreover, everything else appears to work normally… videos play fine on iOS devices and my Fire TV.

Yes, I am signed in. As of the most recent update it eventually will give me the “Server signed in as: X” message, but I still have to click “claim server” about 10 times before it works. Just a minor annoyance/oddity, but it does this both on my mac pro and my macbook in any browser I try.
AgentMax, sorry I misread you slightly. The “claim server” button, (what I was having the issue with), is seemingly how you sign the server in once your user is signed in. So no, I guess my server wasn’t signed in until the Claim Server button finally started doing something for me but that was was the problem I was trying to convey. In any event, it seems to work now but takes multiple tries before it does anything.
I have the same problem … I am running Plex Server on my local home Network, which is protected by firewall. I can browse internet, but I don’t allow connection attempts to come back from the internet. Also, my Plex Server is not Remote Access enabled. Just having it up & running on my local Network, so that I can stream stuff between my home Computers is enough for me.
