I have tried multiple times to click the claim server button without it working. I recently installed plex server on my Ubuntu machine, and have a few media files able to be streamed. I have tried the process of signing out, and attempting to sign in after clicking the claim server button but that still does not do anything. All that happens is that it spins the circle for a few minutes then the claim server button reappears with nothing happening. I have searched for solutions in the forums for a long time now with no solution.
Details of the installation place?
Installed:
- From the Ubuntu store
- From Plex.tv/downloads
- From Linuxserver.io ?
- In a VM?
- or native?
Can you create a .tar.gz of the Logs directory under /var/lib/plexmediaserver and attach it?
Have you tried claiming it via the app on a phone/tablet?
