Running on Windows 10.
I recently reloaded my classical music collection as I moved it to a larger disk. After the reload I noticed that the load had created the Ludwig van Beethoven artist incorrectly. There was an artist called ‘Beethoven’ and all my Beethoven recordings were correctly linked to it but the picture and the associated biography were for a French pianist called Walter Gieseking (his is one of the Beethoven recordings I have). I tried to fix this by using the ‘fix match’ option on the artist. Of the options it returned the correct Beethoven was #1, not surprisingly. However when I selected it my Beethoven artist briefly flashed the rubbish bin symbol then disappeared. Now I no longer have an artist called Beethoven and all the Beethoven recordings have disappear from the Plex library. I’ve tried searching all sorts of ways and they are simply no longer there.
What has happened and how do I get the recordings, which are still all present and correct on the disk, to reappear in my Library under the correct artist?
