I’m a long time Plex user (watching movies and TV shows from my own collection).
I’m just getting to know PlexAmp, and loving it. However, being a boring, crusty person over 70 there’s one thing I’d like, but can’t find (possibly because it’s not there). I enjoy classical music (along with almost everything else) but can’t find a Classical Radio channel or its equivalent.
If I’m missing something, please point me to it. If I’m not, please consider this as a possible addition for a future update.
Consider making a smart playlist, using a filter that looks for e.g. a Genre of “classical” or any other keyword that you have on your classical music.
You can then start a shuffled playback of that playlist from the Recent Playlists hub on the Plexamp Home page.
And Plexamp already has a [Genre] Radio feature. If all your classical albums share a common genre tag, you can simply utilize that.
2025 clean-up: can already be achieved by placing the media in a separate library, or assigning a genre and filtering for that (considering as implemented)
