Clean Bundles & Optimize Database in plex 4.0.1

In the new WEB UI 4.0.1 it appears there is no way to Clean Bundles & Optimize Database… Is this no longer necessary?

Moved to Settings -> Troubleshooting.

In settings>scheduled tasks you can also have it optimize and remove old bundles once a week automatically

Thanks guys.

What about Empty Trash? Where did that get moved to?

Where’s the automatic Plex Dance - that now must be performed by dancing and drilling all over the ‘New and Improved’ Plexweb?

That was rhetorical - as any answer you may offer in rebuttal is an absolute waste of everyone’s time because Plex screwed the user wanting to do maintenance in favor of some wild, off the wall idea by a design team who have NEVER Plex Danced in their life, don’t know what The Plex Dance is, or know why we need to do it at least once a week.

It is still not perfect, but everything can be done at Plex Web > MORE > server context menu > manage server

Ah, yes I see… well, that’ll have to do I guess - and is it because a DieHard Plex Veteran like me is Stoopit, not being able to find that, or some other reason?

(you can answer that - no matter what you say I won’t be offended…lol)

I think it was in one of the server release notes.

I also complained about it loudly myself in a few of the plexweb/uno threads.

I don’t like having to hit MORE, but at least all the important ones are together again on one menu, instead of scattered across different settings sections.

Yea, it’s clunky, but workable - and the reason is:

Like “Killing PMP” when enough users show up in war paint to make Plex have to circle the wagons - they ‘shoehorn’ re-designed/de-designed features back in… and sometimes there just ain’t a shoehorn with enough leverage to make it all appear ‘planned’.
