Clear currently loaded track - Android PlexAmp

If I am playing a track, stop it and exit the app, clear tasks, (not force closing the app) the track i had up previously is still there when I reopen PlexAmp.

How do I clear the loaded track without having to force close PlexAmp?

The reason I am trying to do this is so when I assume the session of a remote player, I don’t want the track I have loaded on my phone to stop playback of the remotely playing device with a completely different track. When there is no song loaded on my phone, it is a seamless transition when I take over/connect to the remote player.

If you long-press the Play/Pause button the track will be fully stopped,

Thanks but that doesn’t do anything for me here other than give a haptic response.

Ok after a few more tries - this sometimes works. I’m not sure how to duplicate. But yeah sometimes.
