Plexamp closed - track still playing?

Plexamp 4.3.0 (AppImage on Linux Mint 20.3)

I don’t use Plexamp much, but I launched it just to try something. I played a track, but didn’t want to finish it, so I hit Pause. Then I closed Plexamp.

I noticed in Plex Web that the Dashboard shows the track I was playing as still active. I went back into Plexamp to verify that the track was indeed not playing, but noticed that there is only a play/pause button – there is no ‘Stop’ button.

I can’t stop it via Dashboard due to this 3-year-old bug.

So how do I kill this loaded track?

Looks like it simply takes several minutes to realize the track has stopped. Still not a very good behavior.

You can hold down the play/pause button, which is the equivalent of stop.
