can I clone my plex server to a second device and just drag and drop the plex folder (database folder) from the original one? Will it be shown as a secondary server or is it in conflict with the original one? then?

If you do that, you can’t be sure which server machine you are actually communicating with through the web app. Since both servers have identical “machine ID’s”.
(the location from where you load the web app into your browser doesn’t matter)
After cloning the data (make sure both source and target Plex servers are shut down during the copying process!)
you need to access the Windows registry of the clone and remove the item described in this article: https://support.plex.tv/articles/20428152…
Additionally, make sure that the actual media files are accessible on both machines under the exact same address/drive letter/folder name.
The method for (re-)claiming a server may be now different, depending on server platform.
Back in Plex Media Server 1.29.2, we introduced some new behavior for macOS. This behavior is now being brought to Plex Media Server for Windows starting with version 1.32.2.
