Greeting,
I have been running Plex on my windows 10 64 bit desktop without any problems.
I decided to build a machine exactly like the last machine right down to the hardware. I even did a copy of the NvME O/S drive.
I placed the NvME drive into the machine and turn it on and it boots as it should. I change the ip so I do not get any conflicts. I am aware I need to change the windows key as well. I also rename the Machine.
Here is the issue. Plex does recognize this machine as the old machine. I would like to separate this installation from the original installation on the other machine. I would like this install to be a backup (but available.)
The end goal would be to run both servers serving the same content. One as Master and the other as Backup.
Where would I need to change the information on the Slave so Plex recognizes the 2nd machine as a Backup and NOT the Master?
