Any chance of getting Closed Caption support added in along with the existing subtitle support in Plex?
I know that MythTV is supporting Closed Caption with their own mods to ffmpeg, but it doesn't look like those mods were ever pushed upstream, and I assume you don't want to have to maintain your own set of mods to ffmpeg to support this.
It sounds like http://ccextractor.sourceforge.net/index.html can support extracting Closed Caption on the fly from a stream, would it be possible to integrate support with it?
At the moment I'm using ccextractor to generate SRT files, it's an extra step to process the files, and creates a file MythTV doesn't know it's supposed to be keeping track of. It would be great if Plex could handle the Closed Caption on its own.
