@nibbles @BigWheel Here’s a kick in the head: I just logged into my home server from outside the house to watch recorded live TV and the subtitles were on by default!! I then VPN’d in to my home LAN and they did NOT appear by default.

@nibbles @bigwheel I got all excited yesterday when closed captions started at the beginning of my show! But then I realized it was hard coded into the show, translating a foreign language… sigh. It’s been real long time now…
The fix should be in 1.32 but I don’t have an ETA on that release but I think it will be this month

I’m still on server 1.31.0.6654… either it got moved early or the fix was in a player program, but this morning on two machines the captions come up by default! THANKS!!!
