Closing Plexamp on Linux

I am one of the 6 Plexamp on Linux users

I see no way of shutting plexamp down other than opening a shell and doing a kill.

Is there an easier way?

Well, what Desktop Environment are you running? In Gnome, I’m able to use the menu options available to close Plexamp.

Using Cinnamon (LinuxMint) and XFCE desktops are available to me.

Neither show the menu image you posted above. Basically, I have no top menus or toolbars the only toolbar is in the footer.

I’ll install Gnome bits and pieces to see if anything changes. Will report back.

Thanks.

What happens if you right click on the minimized icon?

That’s a kludge. Thanks. I can close it from the footer toolbar menu when the window is not maximised. It’ll do.

BTW, I installed the Gnome desktop. It did not give me a close option menu item either.

Cheers

It’s not a kludge, sir. It’s another way of doing things with a minimized app that you didn’t know about that’s been there in window systems since the '80s!
