I have plexamp running on Linux. There seems no way of shutting it down other than with a KILL command.
Am I wrong?

Edit sorry I miss read server in there.
Can’t you right click the taskbar icon to exit? Been a while since I ran it in Linux desktop.
Are you referring to Plex or Plexamp?
I see no way of shutting Plexamp down.
I can’t see any function icon or menu link to close the app.
Of course, if I start it from a command line I can CTRL+C. But if I start the AppImage from the GUI then the only option seems to be invoking a kill command.
Maybe I’ve missed something…
As @TeknoJunky said, right-click the taskbar icon and select ‘Close.’
Alt+F4 also works.

There’s nothing within the Plexamp UI to exit.
I’m not seeing the taskbar everyone’s talking about. Clearly I’m missing something.
But ALT+F4 works, so that’s good.

I’m using Ubuntu 21.10 under a MATE desktop. That means a panel at the bottom has a widget for each open window/application running, including one for plexamp. Under Unity style desktops I think it’s in the dock or whatever they call it. I don’t use Unity nor Gnome shell. If you open an app on your Linux desktop and minimize it where does it go? That’s where you should find the plexamp.
It seems silly that the plexamp itself doesn’t have an exit button but then again there’s a lot about the UI that I don’t think is very well done.
