Hi there, I have been having an issue where I am fighting with my plex media server to properly organize my collections. Because of the inane issue of shows being shown outside of their series collections if they are in another collection that is set to display titles I use a workaround with a hidden collection called unhide movies that I use to show titles without breaking my series collections. Unfortunately I keep having an issue where the unhide collection is taking priority, being shown under the video in the media player, over the awards collection.
Expected behavior is when I select a show that has won the best picture award it will show the collection of best picture award winners, however it is showing the “unhide videos” collection. I keep editing the videos to have the awards collection first in the list but the unhide videos collection keeps jumping in front.
If we could assign priorities to collections this problem would be eliminated.
My personal settings would be as follows
1 - Series (Iron Man, Godfather)
2 - Awards (Academy best picture)
3 - Actor/Director (Nic Cage, M. Night S.)
4 - Unhide videos collection
After assigning priorities, shows that are in a series collection would show first, if a movie is not in a series it would show the awards collection, followed by the Actor/Director collection. The unhide videos would not show at all as it would be superseded by the above collections.
The current way of handling collections has us fighting with the server, reordering our collection priorities.
