hey there.
i am in the web interface of plex media server. when i drag and drop items around inside of a collection it seems to work fine first. but as soon as i refresh my changes are lost. my collection settings under advanced are set to custom ordering.
i know this has been discussed a lot and apparently also a fix has been released. but on my side it is still not working. in both safari & chrome.

What version of Plex Web are you using (e.g. via the local IP address of your server or the https://app.plex.tv/desktop)? If you’re using the local version… which version of PMS do you have installed on that Mac?
thx for your quick reply! i am on plex web 4.76.1, plex media server 1.27.2.5929 and using the local ip address to access my server.
Does the issue persist if you use the hosted web app?
yes, problem is exactly the same. as soon as i refresh, my order changes are lost.
With what media types are you experiencing this issue?
I understand this should have been fixed for movie and artist collections .
Inside that music library… do you experience this behavior with an artist, album or track based collection?

Same here. Custom ordering is totally broken and doesn’t work for me at all. It’s amazing they haven’t been able to fix this given how long it’s been a problem. Very frustrating.
Same issue for me. My collections from a couple of days ago work fine, but any new collections experience this issue… My PlexPass ended yesterday, so maybe that has something to do with it?
Did this issue ever get resolved for you @bunte_strahlen ?
