I am enjoying Plex’s subtitles integration for individual videos. However, I keep having to manually choose to download subtitles for each video in a collection. Can we please get an option on the collection to download and prefer subtitles for all the collection entries? One big for loop to repeat the action.
Perhaps this is already an option in the Plex Web library editor Ui, dunno. But on more limited devices like the Plex Roku app, I don’t see this option yet.
As a workaround, I have to repeat the same subtitle customization every time I play the next video in the collection.
I suppose I could edit the video SRT/MKV contents directly on the file system. But that would involve even more work. Plex has demonstrated a remarkable capability to apply decent subs, it just needs a way to repeat the preference at the level of an entire collection, in a menu accessible to all the Plex player apps.
