What does this function do?
(Movies) Add related and post-play hubs for a movie’s collections. (#6005) (#6011)
I did not see any changes to collections I had or different view modes.

Wondering the same myself there is nothing different that i can see.
If you finish watching a movie that is part of a collection, and your client supports showing a “post play” screen, that screen will include hub containing other movies from the same collection.
Since this is now implimented to show on a movie post play screen, after it has finished playing, would it not also be possible to show the same movie collection as part of on the pre-play, movie info screen, where all the extras and trailers are showing too?

Already done (where clients are showing hubs on pre-play).
Ah, I was just testing in Plex Web, thinking as a new feature it would show up there first. Found it in the iOS app and on PMP.
Boooooo! Not the collections feature we’ve all been begging for but… yep you go plex, keep spending your efforts developing features nobody asked for and ignoring those we do want.
I agree, the collections feature should look more like what was proposed in the Requests forum.
Collections
Hey guys, this was an idea that came up during a video conference meeting between users and Plex. It’s not meant to be the end all way of handling collections but a way to get us some of the features we’ve been wanting that would fit the current architecture.
I personally appreciate the effort and like the way it came out. Thanks @elan !
Hey @cayars, thanks for chiming in, and I believe you had the original idea, which was a great one.
It’s intended to be a baby step towards improving collection handling, one which is light-years easier than the full “Collections 2.0” along the lines of the request thread
Thanks for the clarification. Nice to hear that more is planned for Collections.
