Collections artwork location

I am aware that you can save an image file as poster.jpg in the location for a movie/tv and the server and automatically select that artwork when building/rebuilding your database.

Does anyone know if the same can be done for Collections? once you select an image for a collection, where is this data saved?

i use shield btw

any ideas would be appreciated

Unfortunately not.

If you upload a poster to a collection, it is stored somewhere in the Plex data folder.
This is usually inaccessible to the user, when using a Shield.
