Collections disappear - With unplayed filter applied

Hi I’m new to Plex and so far everything is going well and seems straightforward, all except the collections

When I change my filter to unplayed, all my collections disappear, even though the programmes in the collection are unwatched

I’m sure it’s probably something simple, but it’s got me stumped.

Any help would be great

Do you mean the collections no longer show in your library if you filter the library for unplayed/unwatched items? – but they’re still there… just filtered out?

IIRC, Plex doesn’t actually look “into the collection” to verify if some of their content is unwatched.
There’s an existing feature suggestion asking for Plex to change that behavior
