Collections stopped working - cannot access collections or add to them

the Collections feature was working fine for a couple of years. I add through a manual process. I still have the dozens of collections I can see in plex. however I cannot access the files in the collections nor can I add files to the collections

I get this message - “Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again.”
