Strange collection behavior on v1.28.1.6104

I run Plex from a docker on my Unraid system. Yesterday I spent a couple of hours creating some movie collections with no problems. Last night, my appdata was backed up as per the schedule I have set (every Monday night, starting at 2am), and the backup processed with no issues.

Today, I try to make a collection, and it’s not working. The server is up, I can connect to it, new media is being added, I can play files locally and remotely, and I can even add movies to an existing collection - but I cannot create a new collection.

I’ve tried two methods: editing the “Tag” field in a movie and creating a collection there, and selecting multiple movies and using the “Add to Collection” button. The former method does nothing after I click “Save”; the latter method actually gives me an error: “Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again.” These errors occur if I connect directly via IP, or via the plex.tv proxy method.

This is super confusing. Anyone know what possible explanation there might be for this behavior?

Update: I was able to successfully create a new collection by using the Advanced Filters in my movie library, only showing (in this case) titles that contained “rush hour”, then saving that as a collection. Still weird that I can’t do this using the other two methods mentioned above.
