It seems there are many topics already for this, but none of the suggested work-arounds have been succesful for me. The problem description: When I use my web browser to load Plex, and then navigate to “Collections” in my Movies folder, I can see all the individual movies when I’d prefer to only see the collections. If I want to see all of the individual movies, I’ll use the “Library” tab which is working fine. The problem is, that in “Collections” tab I can see both movies AND collections. I’d only like to see the collections.
The “Collections” tab works fine on my iPhone app, and my Windows app, but not in web browser app. I’ve tried both Firefox and Edge browsers, the issue persists in both of them.
I’m suspecting something is off with my database(?), since I restored a big amount of movie files from backup and then kept rearranging/moving the movie files to different library folders, etc. and at the same time I was using plex web to organize my movies into collections. The whole web interface was sluggish as heck at that time, because it kept scanning for changed library files and updating TV shows episodes metadata and what-not at the same time as I was using the interface to organize the collections. A couple of times I got a red “error” message when trying to add movie to a new or existing collection (didn’t matter if it was new or existing collection).
But I don’t know what could cause the web interface to mess itself up, when at the same time iPhone app or Windows app doesn’t mess up?
