Collections tab showing all movies not just collections

I added a collection to one of my libraries today and now when I select the collections tab at the top of the screen it displays all the movies in that library, all other libraries still display collections using the collections tab correctly. I still hides movies that are in the collection (that feature was set in Advanced Settings for the libraries) but displays every movie as well as the filter menu reserved for the Library tab. This behaviour only happens on my server in my admin account, in the managed accounts on the server and on my Roku and Fire TV cubes it is fine for all accounts. Again this only happens in one of many libraries and only using the Plex server owners account, the library’s settings are identical to all other libraries, it was working fine before I added an 18th collection then even deleting the collection or all collections does not change the behaviour. Deleting and rebuilding the library database might help but it’s a long process to undertake for uncertain results.

I assume you’re seeing this in the browser version of Plex? Then click Settings > Plex Web > Debug > Restore Defaults

I was considering doing exactly that but it may affect all other plex web accounts set up. Also the issue only affect one library, but I’ll give it a shot.

Well, that seemed to work, now I have to see if it affected other instances of plex apps on various tvs in the house lol.

Only the web app (client). That option doesn’t impact your server or other clients.
