Dear Plex support team,
I run two separate film libraries on my Plex server: “Filmler” and “Dublaj.” Both libraries have identical settings for “Collections” (in the Advanced tab, the “Hide items which are in collections” option is enabled, and all other settings match). However, in the Plex web interface I encounter the following situation:
In the “Dublaj” library, when I open the Collections tab, all collections are displayed as neatly arranged cards.
In the “Filmler” library, when I open the Collections tab, instead of collection cards I see a list of all movies from the library; in other words, the Collections tab shows the same content as the Library view. When I access the same library via the Plex desktop or mobile app, the collections display correctly.
This inconsistency does not resolve after clearing the browser cache, trying different browsers and computers, or other basic troubleshooting. Switching between “Show collections and their items” and “Hide items which are in collections,” recreating the collections, and restarting the server also had no effect.
In my search through Reddit and the Plex forums, I found that some users have experienced similar issues and resolved them by toggling the collection settings. Others noted that resetting the web player via the “Restore Defaults” option sometimes restores the Collections tab. However, none of these methods solved my problem.
Therefore, the fact that collections appear in one library but not the other, despite identical settings, suggests there may be a bug in the Plex web interface. I would appreciate any guidance or fixes you can provide on this matter.
