Hello I am using MAC OS (Sierra) . I understand that Plex no longer supports this but mine works fine right now. (kind of, a little slow)

1- My question is when I am forced to add a new server how do you export collections and import them so you don’t have to rebuild them every time.

2.) I recently uninstalled 1.29 then installed 1.3(something) .When Starting it showed the name of my IMAC but it shows my old server but I cannot connect to it. Its the exact same Computer and path to my ex HD but yet cannot connect. I understand this is probably because the server was uninstalled but I feel since the path is the same it should be able to see it .Maybe not

Also for the questions above about server version and player. How do I find that if my server is off?

Dont uninstall, just install the new version, otherwise you can restore a copy of your database. If you dont have a copy of your database you are SOL.

what about the collections ? How do you back that up ? it seems like something people are using software for but seems like a huge pain in the a**

If you keep your database intact that is not an issue.
